Good to know about travertine
Where is the best place to buy travertine on Curaçao?

What is the difference between 'in stock' and 'on order'?
In-stock products are in our warehouse on Curaçao and can usually be delivered or collected within days. On-order products are brought in especially for you; allow a lead time of 8 to 12 weeks.
How do I request a price?
The sale prices of in-stock products are shown on the site. For all other products, tap 'Request a price on WhatsApp'; you get a pre-filled message with the product name, and we reply as quickly as possible (usually within the hour) with price and availability.
What do vein-cut (VC) and cross-cut (CC) mean?
Travertine is sawn from the block in two directions. Vein-cut gives straight, linear veins — a sleek, modern look. Cross-cut shows a cloudy, mottled pattern — classic and calm. Both cuts are the same stone; the difference is purely aesthetic.
Is travertine suitable for outdoors and around the pool?
Yes. Tumbled travertine pavers are slip-resistant, stay relatively cool under the Caribbean sun and withstand salt and chlorine. For outdoors we recommend a tumbled or honed finish, not a polished surface.
What is the difference between filled and unfilled travertine?
Travertine naturally has small cavities. In filled travertine these are closed at the factory with resin or cement, giving a smooth surface that is easy to keep clean. Unfilled travertine shows the natural structure and is often used outdoors.
How much travertine do I need?
Measure length × width of the space in metres; that is the number of square metres. Add 10% for cutting waste (15% for French pattern or diagonal laying). Send us the measurements via WhatsApp and we work it out for you, including the number of boxes or pallets.
Can I see a sample?
Certainly. You can view samples of all series in our showroom, by appointment. Send us a WhatsApp message to plan a time; you receive the location right away. On request we also bring a sample to you.
Do you deliver across Curaçao?
Yes, we deliver across the whole island. Delivery cost depends on quantity and location; we include it in the quote.
